Crawler mounted "umbrela" drill rig, designed for tunnel drilling using forepoling , ADECO and NATM tunnelling technology. The outstanding feature of these rigs is the large working radius with a spectrum of sections wide enough to perform drilling in railway, roads, hydraulic tunnels. The TD Class8 rig can be fitted with a "CE" certificated telescopic, remote-controlled crane for face tunnel operations, Rig operations are controlled by a separate remote control panel, allowing the operator to stay clear of the danger area and avoid hazards associated with rig movement and positioning.
